Asia Foundation Team Visit to Our School

Madam Wendy Rockett Communication out reach Programme officer and Mr.Anton D.Nallathamby Director Books Programme Administrative officer in Srilanka visited to Our school Today and gone through discussions and supervision of books donated by Asia Foundation to Our Library. Old Students Association President patron and SDS Secretary also participated in discussion with them.

New Prefects Induction 2011/2012

23 new prefects were taken oath today under the president ship of our college principal. The above function took place today at 8.30am Mr.Arumugam Ragunathan Co coordinator Samurthi Board Jaffna District. Prefect’s badges were sworn by Mrs.Ragunathan Kumuthini and prizes to new prefects were given by the Zonal Director of Education Vadamaradchchy. Many members of the OSA, SDS, SDC and parents participated. Principal in his address stressed the need of strengthening school relationship and discipline in school. The programme ended with school Anthem and new prefects gave tea to the teachers and invitees.

The above meet was held on 05.02.2011 at Our College green Mr.B. Partheepan at law old boy of Our College and Mrs.Abiramy Partheepan old girl of Our College were the Chief Guest. Zonal Director of Edⁿ Mr.V.Selvaraja Participated and motivated our Athlete old students, parent and well wishers participated and made the meet a success.

Donation of Computer to J/Vigneswara College - Karaveddy

Homes Hope of Canada administrated by Mr.Frank Seevaratnam has donated 15 computers and its accessories to our college on the request of Mr.C.Ambihavaran Our Old student of karaveddy ontrium of canada.

We on behalf of our School Community thank them for their Contribution to promote Computer education in Our school and village. Every Children of our School Congraluates them for their help to them. May almighty bless them all.

Independence Day Celebrations in School

The above day was Celebrated with the hosting of National flag by the school Principal. National Anthem was sang by the Music Teacher and Students. All teachers Students, Parents Participated.

After the hositing of National principal and Deputy Principal addressed to the crowed and impressed the importance of celebrating the day.The Celebrations Continued with the shiramadana functions by the teachers and students.
